Recently TOCO introduced a renewed ‘Stop Work Champion’ initiative which aims to put worksite safety in spotlight and promote ‘Stop unsafe work’ culture across TOCO. The programme is designed to evaluate ‘stop work’ interventions on a monthly basis for each site, select the most impactful ‘stop work’ instances and to recognise the proponent as ‘Stop Work Champion of the Month’.
The winner will also receive prizes, certificate, coverall badges and will go on an inter-site tour to spread the message. In the month of January, the following employees were selected to be the proponents of the best ‘Stop Work’ memos among numerous entries received:
EVERY TOCO EMPLOYEE IS OBLIGATED to stop unsafe work when a perceived unsafe condition or behavior may result in an unwanted event. Speak up without fear to stop an unsafe work!
