September was a busy month for our Omani TA team as they successfully executed three shutdowns at PDO and Oman LNG sites.

At OLNG, we deployed 18 of our Omani TA team on short notice to work with the main TA contractor. The Train-1 TA lasted for 25 days and our team has completed all assigned activities without any HSE incidents. TOCO, the incumbent multi-disciplinary long term maintenance contractor, played a key role in this TA as they delivered key work packs and worked 250,000 manhours safely. The team secured 4 ‘Goal Zero Safety Commitment Awards’ during the TA event.

In PDO, the team executed two separate shutdowns between CPP-SAIH RAWL and GP-SAIH NIHAYDA. The 12 member Omani TA team worked 7 days at Saih Rawl and 11 days at Saih Nihayada with short demobilisations in between.

TOCO was appointed in 2021 as the first Independent Contractor to develop a 100% Omani turnaround team by the Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) which had partnered with the three major operators including Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO), Oman LNG and OQ in this initiative of national importance.
