Our customer, Oman LNG organized a Safety Day on 26 Aug 2019 which was very successful with active participation from their own staff and contractor personnel. Reflecting our cultural emphasis on HSE, TOCO displayed a visibly active participation during the event.

TOCO setup exhibition booths and scaffold’s demonstration at the venue which the attendees found very informative.  “SALAMA”, an innovative HSE Board Game developed by our sister company in Qatar, was introduced during this occasion. The visitors got an opportunity to try their hands on this exciting game which received several positive feedbacks. A mobile application version of ‘SALAMA’ was also available at the booth for the visitors to try on.

Stephen Lunt, TOCO Site Manager at Oman LNG was very excited to share his experience:

“It all started last week with some contractor engagements, quizzes and HSE discussions. This culminated in the finale of safety day yesterday which went extremely well, lots of interest and particularly the TOCO booth with the SALAMA display. Our sister company, Occupational Training Institute (OTI) also joined our booth.”

Following the safety day, a separate SALAMA session was organized for the Oman LNG management team. Richard Byrne from our sister company Madina Group  , Steve Hickey & Owais Ahmad from OTI and Steve Lunt, TOCO site manager briefed about the rules of the game to attendees.

“It is one of the best safety initiatives he has ever seen” – a senior manager from Oman LNG commented.

Overall, the event was informative, interactive and enjoyable to everyone.
